Welcome to the Wynn Lab!
We are located at the University of Victoria in beautiful Victoria, BC.
Our research explores the relationship between the cognitive processes of memory and visual attention and how these processes change with healthy aging. Specifically, we are interested in how eye movements reflect and support the formation of new memories and the retrieval of old ones. To this end, we use a variety of techniques including eye movement monitoring, and test different populations including younger and older adults. To learn more, please visit our Research page.
Our lab is part of the Cognition and Brain Sciences (CaBS) Program in the Psychology Department where we have access to a number of resources including eyetracking, EEG, and fNIRS. Collaboration is an important feature of research in the Wynn Lab and is facilitated through participation in the weekly CaBS seminar series and the annual NOWCAM conference.
The Wynn Lab is currently recruiting trainees at multiple levels. Please see our Opportunities page for details.
